Travel to La Manga, Flights, Train, Bus, Local transport
Flights
You can fly to/from Murcia-San Javier Airport (West side Mar Menor coast) and to/from Alicante Airport (90 Km. from Mar Menor, via motorway) from many European airports. To get the best information about Murcia-San Javier Airport and Alicante Airport arrival and departure flights (from/to any European Airport) and to make your on line pre-reservations use Rumbo.com.

Railway
If you like to come by train, you must arrive at Cartagena Railway Station. Then you can take a bus to La Manga. The Bus Station is close to the Railway Station.
Open the next link to RENFE trains and select "Cartagena" in "Origin", please.
Then look for your most convenient Railway Station and repeat the operation, selecting that Station as "Origin" and selecting "Cartagena" as "Destination".

Buses
To come to La Manga by Bus from Centre of Spain (Madrid or intermediate Cities) or NorthEast Spain (Barcelona or intermediate Cities) click, please, on the next Alsa link, click again on "Schedules information" and follow the instructions.
From Madrid (or intermediate City) select it as "Departure, Origin" and select La Manga del Mar Menor as "Destination".
From Barcelona (or intermediate City) select it as "Departure, Origin" and select Cartagena as "Destination". You can take a Bus to La Manga in the same Cartagena Bus Station.

If you like to come by Bus directly to La Manga from Santander, Basque Country (San Sebastian, Bilbao, Vitoria), Navarre (Pamplona), La Rioja (Logroño), Teruel or Valencia Autonomous Community look for the information in BilmanBus, please. Click on "Horarios, Precios y Ofertas" (sorry, in Spanish only, but it is clear and easy).

Local Transport
For buses to/from Cartagena-La Manga you have information, more or less interactive, provided by Cartagena City Council:

Alsa runs the Bus service between Cartagena and La Manga - Cabo de Palos.
Alsa runs the local bus service in La Manga and Cabo de Palos also. From Cabo de Palos to La Manga (and vice versa) during Summer you have buses every thirty or sixty minutes (24 hours a day) to El Pedruchillo and Yacht Port Tomas Maestre and every two hours to Veneziola - La Manga end - (until 1 h. am) Friday and Saturday the service is reinforced. Plainly, the service is not good for the moment.
To obtain information on Alsa buses Cartagena - La Manga use this link. Select "Cartagena" as "origen" and "Pedruchillo" as "destino" -or viceversa-. Check which are the shortest times for the trips if you like to avoid some few village stops.
